The Stella Artois is a light beer (5.2% alcohol value) produced in Louvain, Belgium, by the InBev. The writing on the logo of the beer itself ("Year 1366") refers to the oldest brewery in the city, which already existed in that year under the name Den Hoorn (or "horn"), as reported also some documents relating to breweries Leuven. The name Artois, however, was given only at the brewery in 1708, when Sebastian Artois received the title of master brewer, and beer itself was actually created in 1926.
It is a beer mainly be exported. It is very widespread, especially in Britain. In Belgium, the slogan of Stella Artois is Mijn thuis is waar mijn Stella staat and French Chez moi, c'est près de ma Stella (My home is where my Stella).
The star has had a long relationship with the world of cinema. Since 1994 (in the UK), this beer has organized a large number of events such as the sponsorship of the film and on the website of English Channel 4. The Stella Artois has been a major sponsor of the film festivals of Cannes and Sundance.
